Next
Generation II

Synchron
received unilateral praise for an industry first when we hosted
the inaugural Synchron Next Generation Conference at Halls Gap
in 2006. For the first time, the younger Advisers of a Licensee
were brought together for a conference that was designed specifically
with their knowledge needs in mind plus had a fun yet challenging
social agenda.
From
October 1 - 4 Synchron Advisers and selected Sales Executives
under age 40 gathered again, this time at Marysville in the
Mystic Mountains of Victoria for the 2007 Synchron Next Generation
Sales Conference. The conference moderator and delegate's personal
sales trainer was Michael Harrison of Strategies Plus (www.strategies.com.au).
This year's focus is "Concepts for Selling Business Insurance".
Michael's fees were fully met by Synchron as were delegate's
accommodation costs, all meals, transfers from Tullamarine Airport
and social functions.
Whilst
we intended to and did have fun, the purpose of the Synchron
Next Generation Conference was to give identifiable and usable
support and professional development to Representatives of Synchron
who are under the age of 40. In order to achieve this objective
we employed a number of proven strategies that were targeted
directly at the Adviser's learning outcomes. A bit of Synchron
madness which included morning aerobics, shooting each other
at Paintball and some serious rock climbing complemented the
interactive business insurance training experience.
